Shireshead firsts will be relieved to have secured all 15 points in a match which in which the momentum switched often and the result was never sure until the very last ball.
Batting first on a good day for batting, Shireshead produced their most consistent batting performance of the season compiling 209.
Tom Jacques was the mainstay of the innings with an excellent 75, he was well supported by Adam Murphy (25) and the i -form Joe Cunliffe (20).
A hard-hitting 31 from just nine balls from Andrew Murphy allowed Shireshead to declare with one over to spare.
Momentum soon shifted with an explosive innings of 44 from Rob Letcher at the top of the Silverdale innings which put them in a great position to overhaul the total.
Conner (30) and Jon Mason (26) moved the total on nicely to put Silverdale in a winning position.
The Shireshead bowlers, though, stuck to the task and started to chip away with wickets, with Irfan Qayuum (4-82) the main threat.
Phil Mason, with an unbeaten 46, almost saw Silverdale to victory but finally ran out of partners as Philip Oliver (3 for 33) bowled Matthew James to claim the final wicket and the victory.
