Short on practice due to weather, Shireshead u11 started with a defeat against Torrisholme blue.

Shireshead scored strongly off the bat but lost momentum with some kamikaze running.

Torrisholme batted very sensibly, and were assisted by some erratic Shireshead bowling and closed out the win.
